Révolution Française

I came across a very interesting piece of article today in the news paper. Its was about a new French Revolution.. No this post is nothing about Liberty, equality or fraternity. Nor has this post got anything to do with French and European politics. What I intend to express is something different.

This post is about the ways of transportation. That type of transportation which we have learnt a kids when our dad’s used to help us in it.. Yes.. I am talking about riding a bicycle.. After creating the world’s fastest TGV, the French are now returning to bicycles. On July 15,2007, nearly 10, 000 public bicycles were made available to the residents of Paris. Now isn’t that great.

According to studies, cycling is very good for our health. It helps reducing stress and hypertension. It also increases lifespan. And hey.. half an hour of cycling a day can help in putting off weight.. . Apart from this it doesn’t pollute the atmosphere since there is no fuel used. Isn’t that very thoughtful of French. Hats of to them.

What I am suggesting is even though its slower, why don’t we also start doing the same. This can reduce the traffic involved, the accidents that happen because of speeding etc. Lets take the French as an example and begin Cycling.. I personally enjoy it a lot.. What about you?

Now, I do not approve much of the French ways of doing things~~ however, I really have to differ this time.I am a die hard Lance armsttrong fan n if you happen to read his autobiography, you would know what cycling is like to someone who adores life so intensely.
About this post~~ Good one.Informative n simple..Keep on letting us know about things that happen around us-- I hate newpapers for the reasons they have gone biased these days. Thanks a lot for the post...
